Vancouver: The Gateway to your best Adventure yet. (day one)
You will be picked up from your Airport, Pier or Hotel and transferred to your resort lodging. Traveling thru the Fraser Valley, From the City of Vancouver will give you a lay of the land and the splendor of the Fraser Valley itself, this is approximately a one hour drive. Spend the balance of the day or evening at your leisure. If you are arriving from the ship, you will have the option of fishing in the after noon, golfing or just relax period.
The Adventure Continues: Sturgeon Fishing/Site Seeing/Golfing ? (day three)
Normally we start fishing on these days in search of Sturgeon. After lunch, you will be transferred back to the Vancouver International Airport or Airport Hotel for departure to your next destination. You may extend your time on the river or enjoy a round of golf before enjoying your evening at the hotel. but leave the options open on what you would like to do

Sturgeon
Sturgeon is a term for a genus of fish (Acipenser) of which twenty-one species are known. One of the oldest genera of fish in existence, they are native to the Fraser River. Sturgeons ranging from 8 to 11 feet (2.5 to 3.5 m) in length are by no means scarce, and some species grow to a much larger size. Sturgeon are bottom-feeders. With their projecting wedge shaped snout they stir up the soft bottom, and by means of their sensitive barbels detect shells, crustaceans and small fish, on which they feed. Having no teeth, they are unable to seize larger prey. (more info)
